he next tour, 1999’s-2000’s Nightlife, brought a big surprise for the
fans. Many of the songs performed received a new facelift, with thanks to
Peter Schwartz, a musical director of the whole tour.
Being boring’s remix turned it into a completely new, industrial,
much darker song, which—however—managed to preserve the excellence of
the original. Neil’s fall after the second chorus,
accompanied by orgy of lights and sounds was one of the highlights
of every show. It must also be noticed that the mix played varied slightly
from performance to performance.
